This is a market map, not a ranking or certification. The listed pages identify what to recheck; they do not establish product quality, measured accuracy, customer outcomes or AI-answer visibility. The registry is deliberately scoped and will change as primary evidence changes.

The measurement standard we are working toward
To compare AI visibility—not just compare vendor feature pages—we need a frozen, versioned buyer-question panel; declared surfaces and collection methods; repeated observations; exact valid/failed/no-answer counts; independently reviewable mention, recommendation and citation labels; source URLs; market, language and timestamp; and uncertainty where sample size supports it.
Each provider/surface remains its own cohort. An API result is not presented as a consumer-app result. Unknown, failed and uncollected cells are never turned into zeros. Vendor marketing claims, this founder-owned product's measurements and any future independent benchmark are labeled separately.
The existing HowAICite baseline includes 20 valid observations from one Perplexity API connector and four exact-name competitor checks. That is a small self-study—not an industry-wide estimate. The watchlist above does not add observations to that sample.
Publication and revision policy
On the weekly review, we record source URL, retrieval date, exact changed statement, prior value where available, and whether the change is vendor-reported or independently tested. If no meaningful verified change or new comparable measurement exists, the update says so; we do not manufacture a weekly trend. Published waves remain versioned and denominators are never silently rewritten.
HowAICite operates in the category it studies. We disclose that interest and publish the question panel and limitations. This work aims to make comparisons more inspectable; it is not yet an industry standard, accreditation or independent certification.
